20 weeks

Half way there! Unbelieveable. It's amazing how much quicker it goes when you aren't counting everyday and awaiting each milestone (as much). Trenton keeps me distracted and busy while I grow then I will remember I'm pregnant and get excited all over again. I have been feeling the baby kick since about 16 weeks... 'Its' moving all over the place so much so that Shaun and my mom have been able to feel on the outside now.

We had the pleasure of meeting baby Hudson, my cousin Ashley's 4 week old bundle. He is just a precious little angel and was so good the whole time. It felt so good to hold and smell a little 9 pounder again. It's amazing how quickly it comes and goes. My baby looked like such a big boy in comparison.

I was anxious to see Trenton's reaction to me holding a baby and having a baby around because the first time didn't go so well, but I was pleasantly surprised. He was head over heels for the baby.. So interested, gentle, and happy to help. I'll let theses pictures speak for themselves. He didn't even want the baby to leave in the other room to nurse and has been talking about him ever since they left last night. Melted my heart to see him so tender and caring. I cannot wait for him to have a sibling. Shaun told us all to stay there as he rushed from work to see baby Hudson. He loved holding a baby again and was quick to get his baby magic rock back. Hudson seemed to like him too! Having another baby is already so exciting, but to share that experience with the two loves of my life (soon to be three!) will be indescribable. I am so grateful and feel so blessed to have all of them and am so anxious for the future. But, I am trying to savor these last couple months just the three of us.. It will be so wierd to not just play and love on Trenton only. I am focused on making him feel extra special and loved right now, I guess to make me feel better before the new addition... I now know, he will love it and be fine ;)

4.75 months prego + 18 month old toddler

So far I am feeling pretty good, growing lots and worn out from our crazy, but crazy cute lil man. Trenton is learning new words each day, discovering new skills and things he can touch/lift/ climb on... There's never a dull moment and he sure keeps me on my toes. He's my constant lil challenge.. Challenges my patience, my wit, my stamina/energy and my discipline tactics. He's too darn smart for his own good. Any minute now he will be talking up a storm and we won't remember the days when he didn't. I love his broken baby language.. I know it's bad but I tend to use his words a lot just because their so darn cute. Speaking of, I wanted to post a pic of Trenton's language I wrote on the chalkboard for visitors/babysitters etc out of fear that others wouldn't know what he's saying and couldn't meet his needs. I know, narotic mother. Thought it would be fun to look back on when the kid won't shut up ;) (picture to come)

Baby news... Don't know the gender yet! We aren't as anxious as before so we decided to wait until the 20 week ultrasound which is next week! I can't believe I'm already half way there.. This pregnancy is flyin! My hips are already hurting a lot and I'm remembering/re-living all the reasons I thought this was so hard the first time around. I'm still walking and doing yoga but by the end of the day I can hardly stand anymore. It's a little harder to just sit and rest when you have a crazy lil man on the loose.

Stay tuned for the gender reveal to come! Thanks for checkin in! God bless.

Hugs,
momma T
