Announcement

Here we go again! We are more than excited to continue this journey and grow our family by two more feet! I will be 27 years old with two children in diapers as of October! Oh my how a couple years changes things. Shaun knew we were prego before I even took the test. He has always been very in tune and aware of my emotions and cycles (for lack of a  better word) but WOW. I finally took a test and sat there in amazement. I don't know why I couldn't believe it. I guess even when you know, it's always a bit of a shock. I had Trenton deliver the news (p test) to Shaun. Shaun asked Trenton what that was in his hands.. Trenton tried to erase it. Shaun asked him if he's going to be a big bro, looking at me for confirmation. He wasn't the least bit surprised, but he wore a big grin. I was still shaking. He was thrilled but so calm, cool and collected. Funny how we react differently. He immediately celebrated with Trenton. Trenton just went along with the excitement and played with the stick (eww, I know). 

It was hard to keep it from our parents for long but it was still so early. My sister came home for the weekend for college so we decided to reveal the news. We had Trenton bring pink and blue baloons to the gparents house to surprise them. Neither understood the significance of the colors until we explained it and asked.. Why pink and blue?!?! Haha. Everyone was excited as you can imagine. My mom screamed and ran around the kitchen. 

It is hard to believe that I am pregnant again.. Another 10 months. Pregnancy is hard!! But, now I know the gift on the other end and I will do anything (and Shaun will put up with anything) for another gift like Trenton. He has showed us how amazing life is, how special each moment can be, how precious the little things are and how fulfilled and abundant you can feel when life isn't just about you anymore. When you share every moment with people you love SO much it hurts, every emotion is multiplied. 

We are so excited to love another baby like we love Trenton. My mom said she worried about having my brother after me because she didn't know how she could love another baby so much but she said, "your heart just multiplies, it is incredible". We can't wait for our hearts to mutiply and explode. We love you already so much baby #2 and you have the mostincredible  big brother that we cannot wait for you to meet.
